Hardscape quoting software for patios, walls and walks
Price pavers and stone by area, walls by face foot and base prep by your own numbers, on one quote the customer signs.
Patios and walls carry big material costs, so a small pricing mistake is an expensive one. ZoloBid keeps your area rates and base prep charges consistent on every quote.
How hardscapers price a job
Flat work like patios and walkways is priced by the square foot, and the paver or stone chosen sets most of the range. But the surface is the part the customer sees. The part that decides whether the job lasts is underneath: excavation, compacted base and bedding sand, all of which take machine time, material and hauling.
Walls are priced by the face foot, which is length times height. Taller walls need more base, drainage stone, pipe and sometimes engineering. Steps are usually priced each, because every step is slow, heavy work.
Details add up fast. Borders and inlays mean more cuts. Edge restraint, polymeric sand and sealing are their own lines. Access matters too. A back yard a machine cannot reach turns excavation into wheelbarrow work, and the price has to know that.

- Excavation and haul off
- Base and bedding material
- Edge restraint and joint sand
- Wall face feet, with cap
- Steps, each
- Drainage behind walls
- Sealing as an option

What slows a hardscaping quote down
Base prep priced by gut feel
Excavation and base are where hardscape jobs lose money when they are not priced the same way every time.
Material swaps
Changing from pavers to natural stone should be a click, not a new estimate.
Large deposits, slow collection
Material heavy jobs need money up front before you order.

Walls priced like patios
Use face feet, and charge more as height goes up.
