Concrete quoting software for slabs, driveways and patios

Area, thickness and finish become a priced quote on site, with tear out, base and reinforcement on their own lines.

Concrete is unforgiving on price: yards, thickness and finish all move the number. ZoloBid prices flatwork from your rates so the quote matches the pour.

How concrete contractors price a job

Flatwork is quoted by the square foot, but concrete is bought by the cubic yard. Thickness connects the two. A four inch slab takes about one and a quarter yards for every 100 square feet. A six inch driveway takes half again as much. A rule that knows the thickness keeps the yards, and the price, honest.

Before the pour there is the ground. Removing old concrete is priced by the square foot and hauled by weight. Grading, compacted base and forms all take time. Reinforcement, whether wire mesh, rebar or fiber, is a separate cost the customer should see.

The finish sets the top of the range. A broom finish is standard. Stamped, colored and exposed finishes take more skill, more people on pour day and more material. Short loads, pump trucks for hard to reach pours, saw cut joints and sealing all belong on the quote as their own lines.

What belongs on a concrete quote

A quote the customer can read line by line gets signed faster and argued about less.

  • Slab area and thickness
  • Old concrete removal and haul off
  • Grading and base
  • Forms
  • Reinforcement: mesh, rebar or fiber
  • Finish: broom, stamped or colored
  • Pump truck if access is tight
  • Joints and sealing

Priced the way you already think

Answer a few questions on site and your own pricing rules turn them into lines:

  • Slab area
  • Thickness
  • Finish
  • Old concrete removal

Start from our ready made "Concrete flatwork" setup, then put in your own numbers. Nothing quotes until you confirm each rule.

ZoloBid never sets your prices. The rates, minimums and markups are yours.

What slows a concrete quote down

  • Thickness changes everything

A 6 inch driveway priced as a 4 inch slab is money you do not get back.

  • Removal as an afterthought

Breaking out and hauling the old slab needs its own line.

  • Finish upgrades unsold

Stamped and colored work sells when it is on the quote as a choice.

    Pour, cure and invoice

Photos on the job, final invoice when the forms come off.

Concrete pricing mistakes that cost money

Pricing six inch like four inch

Half again the concrete at the same price is a loss. Ask thickness every time.

Tear out buried in the pour price

Removal is its own job. Name it.

No line for the pump

If the truck cannot reach, someone pays for the pump. Decide who on the quote.

Everything after the price

  • Send a quote the customer signs from their phone
  • Take a deposit when they sign
  • Follow ups and payment reminders that stop on their own
  • Customers, projects, jobs, crew and time in one place
  • Works in the field, even with no signal
  • Your brand on every quote, ZoloBid stays small in the footer
