Privacy Policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
Plain language, no surprises. We keep what we need to run ZoloBid, we do not sell it, and you can get it or delete it any time.
1. Who this covers
ZoloBid is operated by Chad Wood, doing business as ZoloBid. This policy covers three groups: businesses that use ZoloBid, people on our launch list, and the customers of those businesses who get quotes and invoices through ZoloBid.
For a business’s customer list, that business decides what goes in and how it is used. We store and process it for them. If you are one of their customers, the business that sent you the quote is your first contact for your information.
2. What we collect
Account holders: your name, company name, email, password (stored scrambled, never readable by us), team members you invite, and your billing status. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Data you put in: contacts, addresses, projects, prices, quotes, invoices, notes, and files.
When a customer opens or signs a quote or pays an invoice: their name, the signature they draw, the date and time, their IP address, and a fingerprint of the signed document. Payment details are handled by Stripe.
Launch list: your name, email, and the optional business name, trade, and message you share.
Basic logs: IP address, browser type, and the pages and actions used, kept for security and to fix problems.
3. How we use it
To run ZoloBid: log you in, save your work, send your quotes and invoices, record signatures, take payments, and bill your plan.
To keep it safe: stop fraud and abuse and investigate problems.
To talk to you: account, billing, and security emails, and launch news if you joined the list.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your customer list to market to your customers.
4. Who helps us run ZoloBid
Stripe for subscription billing and customer payments. Resend for sending email. Our hosting and database providers for storing data. They get only what they need to do that job for us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or as part of a sale of the business, in which case this policy still applies to it.
5. Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you logged in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep it
While your account is open, we keep your data. After you cancel and your paid time ends, your account is view only for 6 months, then we delete it. We email the account owner before deleting. Signed quote and payment records may be kept longer where we need them for legal, tax, or dispute reasons. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.
Launch list details are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer used.
7. Your choices
Email ops@zolobid.com to get a copy of your data, fix something, or have it deleted. We answer within 30 days. We may need to confirm you own the account first.
Every launch list email has a one click unsubscribe link that is unique to you.
If you are a customer of a business that uses ZoloBid, you can also ask that business directly. We will help them respond.
8. Security
Each company’s data is walled off from every other company’s at the database level. Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored scrambled. Only a small number of people who run ZoloBid can reach production data, and only to support the service. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
9. Children
ZoloBid is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top and email account owners before it applies.
