Demolition quoting software for demo and cleanouts
Price tear out and cleanouts from your own numbers: area or rooms, what it is made of, dumpsters and haul away.
Demo and cleanouts are priced on volume, weight and risk. ZoloBid lets you turn your own rules for area, dumpsters and haul away into a quote on the walkthrough.
How demolition contractors price a job
Demolition is priced from two things: how much there is and what it is made of. Interior demo is priced by the square foot or by the room. Structures like sheds, decks and garages are often priced each, by size.
Material decides the labor and the dump bill. Drywall and carpet come out fast and weigh little. Plaster, tile and concrete are slow, heavy and hard on tools. Since dumps charge by weight, a small tile bathroom can cost more to dispose of than a large carpeted room.
Then the things that stop a job. Utilities have to be shut off and capped. Permits may be required. Some older materials have to be tested before anyone touches them, and removal of hazardous material is specialty work that a general demo quote should exclude in writing.

What slows a demolition quote down
Dump fees are a guess
Tonnage and dumpster swaps turn a good job into a loss when they are not priced in.
Scope by handshake
What stays and what goes needs to be in writing before the first swing.
Surprises behind the wall
Extra work needs a signed change, not a conversation.

Questions demolition owners ask
Is there a ready made demolition setup?
Not yet. You build it from your own numbers, such as a rate by area and a charge per dumpster, and confirm each rule.
How do I handle surprises once the walls are open?
Send a change order from the job. The customer signs it on their phone and it is added to what they owe.
Can I list what is excluded?
Yes. Add notes and terms to the quote so the scope is clear before they sign.
