Siding quoting software for squares, trim and tear off

Turn wall squares, material, trim and stories into a quote the homeowner can read and sign, priced from your own numbers.

Siding quotes have a lot of moving parts: squares, trim, corners, tear off and height. ZoloBid lets you build your own pricing once and reuse it on every house.

How siding contractors price a job

Siding is priced by the square, the same 100 square feet roofers use, but measured on the walls. You take wall area and decide how to treat windows and doors. Many contractors do not subtract small openings, because the cuts around them eat the material and the time that the opening saved.

Material sets the range. Vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood and metal each have their own cost and their own labor. Fiber cement is heavier and slower. Then trim: corners, J channel, window and door wraps, soffit and fascia. Trim is where siding jobs go over, because it is measured in feet, not squares, and it is easy to guess low.

Height and what is under the old siding finish the price. Second and third story walls need staging. Tear off adds labor and dump fees. House wrap and any rotten sheathing found underneath should be named on the quote before the job starts.

What belongs on a siding quote

A quote the customer can read line by line gets signed faster and argued about less.

  • Wall squares and the siding material
  • Tear off and disposal of old siding
  • House wrap or insulation board
  • Corners, J channel and starter
  • Window and door trim wraps
  • Soffit and fascia footage
  • Story or staging charges
  • A price for sheathing repair if rot is found

Priced the way you already think

Answer a few questions on site and your own pricing rules turn them into lines:

  • Wall squares
  • Material
  • Trim and corners
  • Tear off
  • Stories

Build the questions and rules for your own way of pricing. Nothing quotes until you confirm each rule.

ZoloBid never sets your prices. The rates, minimums and markups are yours.

What slows a siding quote down

  • Every estimator prices differently

Without set rules, trim and corner charges change from one quote to the next.

  • Material choices stall the sale

Customers want to compare vinyl and fiber cement side by side, not wait for a second quote.

  • Long jobs, messy billing

Deposits, progress payments and extras get lost across texts and paper.

Siding pricing mistakes that cost money

Guessing trim

Measure corners and openings in feet. Trim is small per foot and large per house.

Same labor for every material

Fiber cement does not go up like vinyl. Give each material its own labor rate.

No line for what is behind the wall

Put sheathing repair on the quote with a unit price so it is agreed before tear off.

Everything after the price

  • Send a quote the customer signs from their phone
  • Take a deposit when they sign
  • Follow ups and payment reminders that stop on their own
  • Customers, projects, jobs, crew and time in one place
  • Works in the field, even with no signal
  • Your brand on every quote, ZoloBid stays small in the footer
