Painting quoting software for walls, coats and trim
Turn wall area, coats, prep and trim into a quote from your own rates, inside or out, and get it signed the same day.
Paint estimates turn on area, coats and prep. ZoloBid prices them from your rates so the walkthrough ends with a number instead of a promise to email one.
How painters price a job
Painters price by area. Interior work uses wall square footage, sometimes floor area as a quick stand in, with ceilings and trim priced on their own. Exterior work uses the siding area, with trim, doors and shutters counted separately.
Coats and prep move the number more than paint does. A color change needs two coats. Bare or stained surfaces need primer. Prep is the quiet cost: patching, sanding, caulking, scraping and masking can take longer than the painting itself, and it is the first thing a rushed quote leaves out.
Height and detail finish the price. Tall walls, stairwells and two story exteriors need ladders or staging. Trim, doors and cabinets are slow, careful work priced by the foot or the piece. Paint quality is a natural upgrade to offer, since the labor is the same and the finish lasts longer.

What slows a painting quote down
Prep is underpriced
Scraping, patching and priming eat hours that never made it into the quote.
Room by room confusion
Customers add and remove rooms, and the total has to keep up.
Color and sheen changes
Every change after the quote needs to be written down and agreed to.
