Junk removal quoting software that prices by the load

Look at the pile, pick the load size, add heavy items and stairs, and hand the customer a price they can approve in the driveway.

Junk removal is priced by eye and sold on the spot. ZoloBid turns load size, heavy items and stairs into a firm number the customer can sign before you start loading.

How junk removal companies price a job

Junk removal is priced by how much of the truck the job fills. Most companies sell in fractions: a minimum, an eighth, a quarter, a half, three quarters and a full load. The customer does not know how big their pile is, so the price is set on site once someone has eyes on it.

Volume is not the whole cost. Weight is. A quarter truck of couch cushions and a quarter truck of roofing shingles cost very different amounts at the dump, which charges by the ton. Dense material like concrete, dirt and tile needs its own price.

Then come the fees and the labor. Mattresses, tires, appliances with refrigerant, paint and electronics often carry a disposal fee per item. Stairs, long carries and anything that has to be taken apart add crew time. A clear quote names each of these so the price at the end matches the price at the start.

What belongs on a junk removal quote

A quote the customer can read line by line gets signed faster and argued about less.

  • Load size, from minimum to full truck
  • Heavy material charge for concrete, dirt or shingles
  • Per item fees: mattresses, tires, appliances
  • Stairs or long carry
  • Take apart labor for sheds, hot tubs or playsets
  • Extra crew or second truck
  • Same day charge if you offer it
  • What you will not take

Priced the way you already think

Answer a few questions on site and your own pricing rules turn them into lines:

  • Truck load
  • Heavy items
  • Stairs
  • Disposal fees

Start from our ready made "Junk removal" setup, then put in your own numbers. Nothing quotes until you confirm each rule.

ZoloBid never sets your prices. The rates, minimums and markups are yours.

What slows a junk removal quote down

  • Load size arguments

A quarter load to you is a few things to the customer. A written price ends the debate.

  • Heavy items for free

Pianos, safes and hot tubs need their own charge every time.

  • Disposal fees eat the job

Mattress and tire fees have to be on the quote or they come out of your pocket.

Junk Removal pricing mistakes that cost money

Pricing volume and ignoring weight

A heavy load at the light price pays the dump, not you.

Eating disposal fees

Per item fees belong on the quote as their own lines.

Quoting over the phone

Piles are always bigger in person. Give a range by phone and the price on site.
